La Collina dei Ciliegi was born from the dream of transforming the beauty of Valpantena, in the heart of the province of Verona, into an authentic experience of taste, territory and tradition. Our winery is the result of an ambitious project: to promote native grape varieties, the best extractors of terroir, in an innovative wine-making project through sustainable viticulture and hospitality of excellence.

It all began in the early 2000s, when Massimo Gianolli decided to return to his roots and those of his family at the Erbin estate, formerly used for green pastures and cherry orchards, in an area that has become ideal for growing vines: a true journey of rebirth that combines winemaking tradition, technological innovation and respect for the environment.

Over the years, we have planted 45 hectares of high-altitude vineyards on land that had never been cultivated and had untapped production potential. The vineyards are cultivated using the parcel method and with passion between 450 and 700 metres above sea level. Thanks to the altitude, exposure and unique climate of Valpantena, our wines express freshness, elegance and an authenticity strongly linked to the territory.

We produce the great classics of the Veronese tradition - Amarone, Valpolicella Superiore, Ripasso, Recioto - and “super IGT” parcel wines obtained from vineyards planted with a typical Burgundy planting pattern (130x100 cm) and 50 cm between rows, which tell the story of an innovative and experimental wine-growing project that is a hundred years old.

Today, La Collina dei Ciliegi is much more than a winery: it is a place where wine meets the art of hospitality. With our Wine Retreat, we offer immersive outdoor experiences among the vineyards (horse riding, e-bike riding, hiking), guided tastings from the barrel, wine jar and bottle, events and exclusive stays, allowing guests to experience the Erbin estate and our wines in all their nuances.

Our history is made up of land, vines and passion. And it continues every day, bottle after bottle.
